Please visit our directions page for information on parking.

Q

There is limited handicap parking in and around Kingwood Town Center Park. The park has paved walking paths throughout.

Q

Q

Are dogs allowed at the event?

Yes, but we highly recommend that all pets be at least 6 months of age or older, as younger animals have little or no immune systems established. No female dogs in heat are allowed. Pets must be current on all vaccinations and be sociable with other animals, adults and children. It is recommended that all pets wear some type of identification (i.e. collar and tag) in the event that they become lost.

Q

Why did the name change from Kingwood Barktoberfest?

The 8-year-old festival was originally held in the month of October, which is sometimes too warm for many of the breeds that attend the event. Moving the festival to November allowed for more ideal weather conditions and the new name is much more representative of what the festival has become.

Q

Is Kingwood Barkfest a rescue organization?

No. Kingwood Barkfest is not an animal rescue organization or shelter. We do not house, place, rehome or foster animals. We are simply a Texas organization that seeks to enrich the local community by organizing an annual pet festival to raise funds and awareness for homeless and abused animals.

What types of payment do you accept?
